From Local Passion to Global Resource

Nextier Online began when our founder, Sarah Jenkins, noticed a gap in quality surfing education online. While teaching surf lessons in Hawaii, she found that her students struggled to find reliable information between sessions.

What started as a simple blog with technique tips quickly grew as surfers from around the world found value in our practical, experience-based approach. By 2018, we had expanded to include equipment reviews, spot guides, and video tutorials.
